Easy Walk Harness & Fido Float

Girth (G) should be measured snugly around the dog's rib cage, just behind the front legs. Fido Floats should also be sized by the girth measurement. Dog must be standing square as shown in order to get proper measurement.

Easy Walk Harness

Identifying the parts: The chest piece has a martingale loop with a "D" ring for attaching the leash. The shoulder strap is made of the same color nylon as the chest strap and has the Premier fabric tag. The belly strap is made of a complementary color.

Fitting the Harness

Open the quick snap buckle on the belly strap. Place the shoulder strap over the breastbone. Adjust the shoulder strap so that when the chest strap is horizontal the chest strap rests directly over the breast bone. After you have tightened bothe the shoulder and belly straps to allow only about a finger's width uner the belly strap, adjust the chest strap to fit securely. It should rest nearly parallel to the grounnd, not "hang down" or gap. When the shoulder strap is fitted correctly, the chest strap should resemble a horizontal line, and it will rest directly over the breastbone. Attach the leash to the D-ring on the chest strap.

We Do Not recommend using the Gentle leader Easy Walk Harness with a retractable leash. Please remember to check the fit, especially on growing dogs. Examine the harness for signs of chewing, freying, or damage. Do not leave the harness on your dog unattended.

The Premier Collar

Unlike other collars, the measurement taken for the Premier Collar is at the top of the neck, directly behind the ears. This corresponds with the size of the collar in the closed position, so it is not neccessary to "add inches." For example if your adult dog measures 14" directly behind the ears, choose a medium collar.
